Craft Activities for Children Exodus 34 Moses Shine because of God’s Glory
In the book of Exodus, we see God’s constant faithfulness to His people. The Lord protects and provides for the Israelites in remarkable ways, and uses Moses to lead the people. After being in God’s presence, Moses’s face was so shiny that others could hardly look at it. These crafts recall the account of “shining Moses” and remind students that we should noticeably shine with God’s love, too. A “Shining Service Flashlight” considers ways that we can share Christ’s light with those around us. A “Shiny Face Mask” helps to recount the story of Exodus 34. Let’s Get Crafty!

Bible Verses or Captions to Consider… (Main Text: Exodus 34:4-10, 27-35)
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God. 30 Aaron and all the people of Israel saw Moses, and behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him. -Exodus 34:29-30
Moses was shiny!
