How will they understand without a teacher?
Teaching matters – your ministry matters – that’s why Jesus spent so much time teaching!
Sunday School Works! is a website that helps you become the teacher God has called you to be.
We share free lesson plans, learning activities, and fresh encouragement every Tuesday. It’s all 100% free.
Is this a really free?
Absolutely – Sunday School Works! is a free website all about empowering you to teach kids the Word of GOD. It’s all 100% free as a service to your ministry.
We do have a sister website called the Sunday School Store is where you can find expanded curriculum for sale for various authors we trust, but we’re working hard to make sure free is always better! 😁
Is this only for Sunday School teachers?
It’s for anyone teaching God’s Word – we have children’s pastors, homeschoolers, and Christian school teachers among our readers. We’re all on the same team making sure the Bible takes deep root in the next generation.
What do you believe?
We embrace the confessional statement of the Gospel Coalition. This means we are conservative, Bible believers, who see the Gospel of Jesus Christ the unifying principle of Christians.
Who is behind this website?
Tony Kummer is the founder and editor of Sunday School Works! He has been a leading voice in children’s ministry since 2007 when he launched Ministry-To-Children.com which has become the most popular online resource for anyone telling kids about Jesus.
His free curriculum has been used by millions of churches and continues to meet an essential need for quality teaching material in under-resources congregations.
Sunday School Works! is his new project. Many of the lesson plans found our this website are used with full permission of Ministry-To-Children, but in a easy printable format.
