Craft Activities for Children: Deep Friendship of Ruth and Naomi Craft Ideas (Ruth 1:1-18)

Craft Ideas for Ruth 1, Faithful friends are a gift from God

The Ruth account teaches us valuable lessons in perseverance, redemption, and faithful friendship. It’s a powerful look at women overcoming trial, but even more than that, it is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and redemption. These crafts celebrate the story and friendship.

A “Gleaning Wheat Basket” recalls how Ruth worked and met Boaz. “Friendship Jewelry” reminds us of the deep friendship she shared with Naomi. Let’s get crafty!

Bible Verses or Captions to Consider…  (Ruth 1:1-18 )

But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.17 Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.” -Ruth 1:16-17
