Bible Craft Ideas for your Children Ministry (SUNDAY SCHOOL ACTIVITIES)
Bible Crafts on “Life Preserver” Ring
You will need:
Construction paper or card-stock
Crepe paper/streamers
Pipe cleaners or ribbon
Scissors
Tape
Paper plate or round object
Extra decorations (stickers, glitter, etc.)
Procedure:
Create the “life preserver” base: Use a paper plate with the center cut out, or a wire or pipe cleaner ring, and wrap it a few times with crepe paper streamers.
Add string or pipe cleaner and tape to secure the streamers around the outside of the ring.
Cut out a piece of paper and write verses and captions.
Add decorations to the caption and ring.
Attach the caption to the ring, along with another string or pipe cleaner to hang the ring and remember that Jesus has the words of eternal LIFE!
Sunday School Craft Two: “Words of Eternal Life” Bookmark
You will need:
Construction paper or card-stock
Markers or crayons
Scissors
Glue or tape
String or pipe cleaners
Decorations (stickers, glitter, etc.)
Hole punch
Procedure:
1. Cut construction paper or cardstock into the desired shape for your bookmark. An arrow could work if you’d like to emphasize Jesus as “the way,” but a simple rectangle will do, as well.
Decorate the bookmark with stickers or drawings. Add verses or captions as desired.
Punch a hole near the top of the bookmark, and attach a string or pipe cleaner ribbon.
If desired, add a plastic cover or laminate the paper to last longer. Place in a Bible or other favorite book, and enjoy!
