I’ve just signed off on the final edits for our latest children’s ministry curriculum titled “Unbreakable,” and I’m excited to share the news (and sample lesson below).
I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with our community today. This 4-week study is available for churches, Sunday schools, and Christian educators to download and use. This curriculum is designed to strengthen the spiritual foundations of our children, nurturing resilience and character that aligns with Christian values.
But this isn’t a moralistic hero study. We’ve ensured the Gospel comes through in every lesson because, ultimately, it’s a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is the source of one’s “UNBREAKABLE” character.
Each week of the curriculum is crafted to introduce children aged 6-12 to biblical figures who exemplify perseverance, courage, generosity, and integrity—traits that are more important today than ever. As we navigate a world full of challenges and distractions, it becomes crucial that we equip our young ones with the moral fortitude to stand firm in their beliefs.
What’s Inside “Unbreakable Character”:
- Week 1: Integrity in Action – Dive into the story of Abigail and learn about the power of wise decision-making.
- Week 2: Give from the Heart – Discover the story of the Widow’s Offering to understand true generosity.
- Week 3: Speak Up! – Be inspired by Stephen’s boldness to proclaim faith even in adversity.
- Week 4: Never Give Up – Follow King Jehoshaphat’s relentless efforts to lead his people back to God.

Why would churches want to use this curriculum? Here are a few reasons:
- Engaging Content: The lessons are designed not only to educate but to captivate the imaginations of young minds, ensuring they not only hear the stories but internalize and reflect on them.
- Interactive Learning: Through carefully planned games, crafts, and discussions, children will not just passively receive information but actively engage with it.
- Deepened Faith: This curriculum emphasizes a personal relationship with Jesus as the cornerstone of character, helping children to understand and embrace their faith in a profound way.
- Community Building: The activities encourage collaboration and sharing, fostering a sense of community and belonging among the children.
As an editor and a believer in the power of faith-based education, I am confident that “Unbreakable Character” will be a valuable resource for your ministry. It’s designed to help our children grow into the leaders of tomorrow, equipped with a faith that is as resilient as it is vibrant.
This curriculum is more than just Sunday school lessons; it’s a pathway to developing strong, ethical individuals who can navigate life’s challenges with grace and strength. I encourage all church leaders and educators to consider integrating this new resource into your programs. Together, let’s invest in building unbreakable characters in our children.
