Sunday School Works! is a website that helps you become the teacher God has called you to be. We share free lesson plans, learning activities, and fresh encouragement every Tuesday.
Is this really free?
No tricks here – our once-per-week email simply points you to our suggested FREE lesson plans for the weekend. We don’t ask for anything but your first name (so we can be friendly) and your email address (so we can send the email.) Every message has a one click un-subscribe if you change your mind later.
What do we believe?
Teaching matters – that’s why Jesus spent so much time teaching! Our free curriculum has been used by millions of churches and continues to meet an essential need for quality teaching material in under-resources congregations.
We embrace the confessional statement of the Gospel Coalition. This means we are conservative, Bible believers, who see the Gospel of Jesus Christ the unifying principle of Christians.
Is this only for Sunday School teachers?
It’s for anyone teaching God’s Word – we have children’s pastors, homeschoolers, and Christian school teachers among our readers. We’re all on the same team making sure the Bible takes deep root in the next generation.
Who is behind this website?
Tony Kummer is the founder and editor of Sunday School Works! He has been a leading voice in children’s ministry since 2007 when he launched Ministry-To-Children.com which has become the most popular online resource for anyone telling kids about Jesus.
Tony is a graduate of Boyce Bible College (B.A. 2003) and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A. in Children Education, 2008). He served as full-time children’s pastor in a smaller church for 10 years before following a call to mission work in Haiti.
