February is a month of God’s Love for many Christians
While February is widely known for Valentine’s Day, a celebration of romantic love, some Christians choose to view the entire month as a time to focus on God’s love. This can be a special time to remember how much God loves us. It’s a time to celebrate His love and share it with others. Just like Valentine’s Day is a time to show our love for our family and friends, February can be a month to especially focus on showing God’s love to everyone around us.
Ultimately, how Christians observe February as a “month of God’s love” is a personal choice. It can be a time for deeper reflection, intentional acts of love, and a renewed focus on the central role of love in the Christian faith.

Children’s Sermon Object Lesson John 14:15-31 Wear the Love of Jesus!
Who are you? How do others know you love Jesus? It’s important for our lives to show evidence of our faith, and for others to see Christ’s love in what we say and do. We want the Holy Spirit to be active and alive in us. As Christians, we should be so excited and thankful for how Jesus changes our lives that we want to share His love with those around us. We follow His commandments by caring for others and demonstrating the love of Jesus. Use this message to communicate the comforting truths Jesus told His disciples in John 14.
Why is God’s love so special?
God loves Us God loves every single person in the whole world who loves him too, no matter what they look like or where they live. He loves you, and He loves your friends and family too! (1 Corinthians 8:3 But if anyone loves God, he is known by God.)
God’s love is forever: God’s love doesn’t change. It’s always there, even when you make mistakes or feel sad. (Psalms 136:26 Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.)
God showed His love by sending Jesus: God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to be our friend and teach us how to live. Jesus showed us how much God loves us by dying on the cross for our sins. (John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life)

- Helpful deeds: Do things for them that show you care. Help them with their homework, play with them, or simply spend time with them.
- Forgiveness: When they make mistakes, forgive them just like God does.Explain that everyone makes mistakes, but God still loves us.
